RHS Wisley in July

I visited RHS Wisley in March and May this year.

Yesterday, on the hottest day of the year so far, I visited to see the gardens in their July glory.

Boy it was hot.

I found a part of the garden I’d never been into before.

I saw baby bananas growing outside.

I was in awe at the displays in the trials field, where new varieties are tested to see if they are suitable for mass consumption via the garden centre.

This is the same picture I took in May, when there was a sea of colour.

All the roses were out.

There was a bit of shade in the orchard.

When visited: July 2013
