Chelsea in Bloom: beautiful shop fronts in central London

During 2011 and 2012 I visited the area around Sloane Street in Central London to admire the wonders of floristry – for the past few years the shops have decorated their façades to create a floral treat during Chelsea Flower Show week.

The event is titled “Chelsea in Bloom

In fact, seeing the tree growing out of the window at the Jo Malone window during 2011 was one of the first things I photographed with a mind to sharing it with others.

On Sunday evening, as some decorations were still being constructed, I popped down to Sloane Sq to take some pictures.

My favourite is the French garden with the parasols.  I’ve tried to vote on the website but sadly it doesn’t seem to work for me (and I’ve tried on two different computers).

You might remember from my post about “The Plan for 2013” that this year we have joined the RHS.  We’re off to Chelsea on Friday, the first time since 2004.  I’ll be gnome spotting.
