We had fun at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show last week. Although we should have made a whole day of it rather than an afternoon (it being much bigger and offering much more shopping than Chelsea Flower Show), I was very happy to get a ladybird poppy, which I have been hankering after ever since I saw them at Great Dixter last year.
They really are very jolly and currently smiling their little hearts away outside my window.
I have lots of photos proper of Hampton Court, which I’ll share after I’ve made it through the rest of our Wales jaunt.
In the meantime, D and I were very happy to pick up some fab plants from specialist nurseries including:
Minature equisetum (horsetail)
Lovely pink, miniature and dark lavenders
A very special acer with pink leaves
Specialist nursery heaven!
