The restored garden at Tredegar House

Last week I mentioned the garden at Tredegar House; how I’d never seen anything like it.  D didn’t like it at first, but when we looked closer we realised it was quite special: made up based on original designs discovered during excavations of ground brick dust, coal dust, crushed shells and grass.

I quite liked it so thought it deserved its own special mention.   Would love to know more about it but haven’t been able to come across any info…
